About Scott

Scott Thiel discovered his passion for investing at an early age, learning alongside his grandfather as they followed stock market updates through satellite broadcasts.. Years later, while working as lead video editor at the NFL Network, he became the go-to “retirement guy” for colleagues—helping them enroll in 401(k)s and understand their pension options. Those experiences combined his lifelong curiosity about markets with a natural desire to guide others, ultimately leading him to a second career as a financial advisor.

Scott joined the financial services industry in 2024 and is now an Investment Advisor and insurance specialist. Licensed in both advisory services and annuities, he helps individuals and families build retirement strategies that create the income needed to enjoy the future with confidence. He works best with clients who are committed to preparing for retirement and open to building personalized plans that align with their goals.

For Scott, advising goes beyond numbers—it’s about relationships. He never rushes conversations and makes himself available beyond scheduled meetings so clients feel heard and supported at every stage. Drawing from his own family’s journey to early retirement, as well as lessons learned through both wins and setbacks, Scott helps clients stay steady through all market conditions. His goal is to provide comfort, consistency, and lasting confidence as clients plan their financial futures.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys hiking, yoga, and golf, as well as attending concerts and sharing dinners out with his wife. He also loves cheering on his daughter at her volleyball games. Active in the community, Scott supports the First Tee program, which uses golf to teach life skills, and participates in arts-based initiatives that foster cultural awareness. Guided by generosity and balance, he brings both care and clarity to every client relationship.
