About Scott
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised primarily in Colorado, Scott Bacon now calls Gold River, just outside Sacramento, California home. His journey into financial advising was influenced by an early career in radio sales and the mentorship of his father-in-law, who led one of Transamerica Financial Services’ top-performing branches for over a decade. After witnessing firsthand the difference that thoughtful financial guidance can make, Scott entered the financial services industry in 2015 and has remained fully committed to helping others ever since.Â
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in strategic business management from Cal State Sacramento. He holds a Life and Annuity license and a Series 65 registration, allowing him to deliver both investment and insurance solutions. Since entering the industry, he has built a loyal client base of over 200 households, many of whom are public school educators and employees in the K–12 sector. Rather than focusing solely on high-net-worth clients, Scott takes pride in supporting everyday individuals who often lack access to clear, consistent financial guidance.Â
At Encompass More, Scott is known for his reliability, transparent communication, and strong client relationships. He prioritizes regular reviews, annually for annuity clients and quarterly touchpoints for investment accounts, to ensure every financial plan stays aligned with each client’s evolving needs. His philosophy is simple: show up, follow through, and be there for clients in both the quiet seasons and times of transition.
Scott’s dedication to service is matched by a full and active life outside of the office. He’s a competitive amateur golfer, having played in notable tournaments such as the 2007 Denver Open and multiple NCGA Four-Ball Championships at Spyglass Hill. A loyal fan of the Denver Broncos and Sacramento Kings, Scott is just as passionate when cheering on his daughter Cassidy, who is now in her fifth year of competitive cheerleading, an activity that keeps both him and his wife, Kathi, on the go year-round.Â
Whether he’s guiding a teacher toward retirement, answering a client’s late-night question, or walking the fairway with friends, Scott brings a steady hand, a thoughtful presence, and a long-game mindset to everything he does. He believes that financial advising is about more than numbers—it’s about building relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and follow-through.
