Joseph Barbour brings nearly two decades of financial services experience and a belief that everyone deserves clear, honest, and personalized guidance. A Houston native, Joseph began his career at Chase Bank, where he quickly developed a passion for helping people achieve financial clarity. Encouraged by a mentor who saw his natural ability to connect and lead, Joseph transitioned into investment advising to offer deeper, more holistic guidance to his clients and never looked back.

As a Financial Advisor with Encompass More, Joseph works closely with individuals, families, and business owners on retirement planning, investment management, and long-term financial strategies. He holds Series 7 and 65 licenses, along with life and health insurance licenses across Texas and multiple other states. His approach blends practical advice with long-term vision, ensuring that every strategy is aligned with the client’s goals, lifestyle, and legacy.

Joseph has a strong connection to the education community, working extensively with teachers, administrators, and public employees. Many of his clients come from these often-overlooked groups—populations he is passionate about serving and empowering with the tools to build financial confidence. Known for his approachable, down-to-earth style, Joseph has a gift for translating complex financial concepts into simple, actionable steps.

Outside of his advisory work, Joseph is a devoted husband of over 20 years, a home chef who enjoys cooking for others, an avid collector of classic sports memorabilia and spending time with extended family. He’s also an active volunteer and sponsor with the Bay Area Football League.
