About Dominic

Dominic DeFreece is a financial advisor who blends personal experience, professional insight, and heartfelt service to guide individuals, families, and small businesses through each stage of their financial journey. His passion for advising began after the loss of his father at age 15. Watching his family struggle financially until a compassionate advisor uncovered unclaimed benefits that changed their path inspired Dominic’s lifelong mission: to ensure others never feel that same uncertainty.  

With over two decades in financial services, including roles in risk management and retail banking, Dominic has spent the past decade advising clients. He now holds his Series 65, as well as Life and Health insurance licenses. A graduate of Penn State University with a degree in accounting and finance, he brings both technical acumen and practical insight to every client interaction.  

Dominic’s approach is rooted in empowerment through education. Whether working with individuals in the accumulation phase or guiding small businesses through planning decisions, he provides clear, actionable options that align with each client’s values and goals. Clients working with Dominic gain more than numbers and charts. They gain a thoughtful partner who listens, communicates honestly, and brings a healthy dose of humor and humility. Drawing from personal experience, he uses storytelling to make complex financial concepts relatable and easy to understand. He is committed to financial literacy, long-term planning, and building strong, trusted relationships based on care and consistency.  

Outside of work, Dominic is deeply involved in his community. He serves as the Chapter President of the Penn State Berks County Alumni Chapter and is an advisor to Hannah’s Hope Ministries, a nonprofit supporting displaced women and children. He also enjoys fitness, kayaking, and quality time with his wife and three children. From the Bronx to Reading, PA, Dominic remains grounded in his roots and focused on helping others feel seen, supported, and secure in their financial future.
