About Chris
Chris Hamm brings a disciplined, client-first mindset to wealth management—shaped by early mentorship, a strong foundation in economics, and decades of diverse experience. His financial journey began at age 11, inspired by his stepfather, a public accountant, who introduced him to saving, investing, and the power of compound interest. That early exposure sparked a lifelong mission: to help others use money as a tool for peace of mind and purpose.
Chris is a licensed CPA and holds a Series 65 license, along with risk management credentials. After graduating from Culver Military Academy, he earned a BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University, a Certificate in International Business through the Oxford Advanced Studies Program at Somerville College, University of Oxford (UK) and an MBA from The University of Mississippi, where he was a fellow in the School of Accounting.Â
Over the years, Chris has advised many HNW entrepreneurs through roles in boutique family offices, Fortune 500 companies and eventually, his own firm, CASPR. At Encompass More, he now focuses on tax-efficient, values-based financial planning for individuals, families, and business owners—including clients relocating to Puerto Rico under Acts 22 and 60.Â
Chris believes every financial plan should begin with a simple but powerful question:Â
“What’s most important to you about your money?” That principle shapes his approach to risk management, estate planning, and long-term investing.Â
Outside of work, Chris is a devoted husband and proud father to two daughters, Charlie and Aubrey. He considers fatherhood his greatest joy and loves spending quality time with family. A passionate golfer and lifelong Dallas sports fan, Chris has a special love for baseball. One of his most cherished memories is taking his father to the World Series.Â
Deeply committed to service, Chris is Vice Chairman of First Tee Puerto Rico and serves on the board of the LimPiaR Project. His work and life are anchored in values of integrity, service, and purposeful growth.Â
