Brock McKinley

Brock McKinley has a decade of experience helping civil service employees secure their future. Brock began his career as an independent agent in Northern California in the 403b market. He quickly became Director of Recruiting and then Vice President of Teacher’s Pension Services. While at Teacher’s Pension and working with the professionals who run districts, McKinley saw a need for non-biased assistance in securing a broader scope of investment options for employees. That’s why he founded Encompass – to guide employers to the very best retirement planning services they can offer so they can attract and retain top talent. Encompass allows public employers to couple Investment Advisory Services with Lifetime Income products and create superior solutions than the predominant offerings in the public employee space. McKinley’s goal is for Encompass to be a top provider in the k-14 403b space and municipality markets. McKinley holds licenses in Life and Health and Series 65. He resides in Henderson, NV.

Ashley Patterson

With over 15 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Ashley Patterson is a seasoned professional with a wealth of financial planning knowledge in the industry. In fact, you could say that this business runs in her blood as her family has a combined more than 110 years of financial service expertise. Ashley knows the ins and outs of the K-14 market having spent years in marketing, corporate operations, and as an agency owner. In 2016, Ashley made the move to a full-time agent and she has been breaking records ever since. Ashley operates under The Golden Rule, treating her clients with the same care and consideration as she treats her family. Ashley takes an educational approach with each of her clients to help them understand the complexities of their state pension, social security benefits and other retirement income variables. She creates simple, easy to understand saving solutions that are centered around her client’s best interests and will generate the comfortable retirement they deserve. As a native Texan, Ashley made the jump from Dallas to Austin to expand Appreciation Financial’s Texas operations. In addition to serving Texas teachers, she’s helped widows and veterans navigate the often complicated financial aspect of life through veterans aid and attendance benefits. She takes pride in serving the people of Texas and spends time coordinating many of the Appreciation Ambassador service projects in the districts she serves. Most recently she spearheaded our 2017 grand finale ambassador project in Austin ISD at Martin Middle School on December 18th. Aptly named, “One piece of a bigger picture” the project was specially designed around a full day of SEL curriculum which gave students the opportunity to leave their own special mark on the campus. Alongside 350 students, 75 staff members, and over 30 Appreciation Ambassador volunteers, her team completed a full campus beautification with over $20k plus in improvements. Austin featured the project on their district Facebook page along with many local news outlets. Ashley believes in giving back to the communities she serves and truly believes in the mantra that Givers Gain.

Chris Chatto

Chris Chatto is responsible for training and developing advisors nationwide. Over his 10 years in the industry he has developed a service based common since approach to financial planning. That has earned him several awards. Working side by side with his clients to build investment allocations and explaining these allocations in a way that clients understand. Chris prides himself on his work ethic, accessibility, and constant desire to add value in every situation he finds himself in. He will not hesitate to go above and beyond to ensure both his clients and advisors are meeting and exceeding their goals. Chris holds a Finance degree from Sacramento State University, along with FINRA series 7 and 66 licenses. Outside of work you can find Chris spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, in the gym, or on his snowboard.

Daniel Krause

Daniel began his career in 2008 helping School Employees plan and save for their retirement.   He has now helped over 1,500 individuals, families and businesses plan, save and prepare for their retirement.  As a Co-Founder of Encompass, Daniel holds his Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, California Life Insurance and California Health Insurance licenses. In 2018, Daniel was presented with an award for helping his clients save and increase more money into their existing accounts than anyone else in the nation, from one of the top 403b providers in the industry.   Daniel has helped run a retirement agency with over 100 Agents and Advisors spread throughout the country and credits his success to absolutely loving what he does and the people that he gets to work with. When not meeting with his clients, you can find Daniel coaching various sports teams or traveling in his motorhome with his wife and 3 children.

Erik NeVille

As CEO of Teacher’s Pension Consulting, Erik’s passion as an entrepreneur led him to share his knowledge of retirement and financial planning to teachers for more than 15 years. Coming from a family of Educators, Erik received a firm belief in the power of education and personal responsibility. This passion drove him to build a Consulting Firm focused on bringing education and financial literacy to those who serve our communities. Erik’s experiences in providing retirement education to hundreds of school districts throughout the United States has helped thousands of employees establish individual retirement investments. School districts and their employees have reaped the benefit of being informed and empowered to choose their right financial path. Erik’s continued involvement with state legislators and other governmental groups, in taking progressive stands on the need for retirement and financial services within schools, has been instrumental in bringing a greater focus on financial wellness for all school district employees. Erik has also served on various boards and panels to provide insight on regulation and employee benefits. Before his time in the military as a Combat Medic in The United States Army, Erik earned the rank of an Eagle Scout where he learned the value of service and continues to volunteer in youth groups and scouting programs. Attending College at Vincennes University studying Pre-Medicine and Finance, Erik’s desire for growth pushed him to continue to learn. He currently holds a  Series 6, 63, and 65 license issued by FINRA. Additionally, Erik also holds both a Life and Health insurance license in various states. Erik has been married to the love of his life for 17 years. Together they are raising 3 wonderful sons in the Central Valley of California.

In 2016, 2017, and 2018 Greg was presented with a national award for being the Top Advisor in helping his clients save towards retirement. His passion for helping people with an important part of their lives, fuels Greg to work tirelessly to help each of his clients. When he’s not working, you can find him spending time with family, friends or on the golf course.
